ROK Talk Show: 37,000 followers for the ROK Cup Italia 2nd round episode

The ROK Talk Show has once again showed its strong following with the third episode of the 2026 season, dedicated to the second round of the ROK Cup Italia, held at the Leopard Circuit in Viterbo (VT). The web programme covering the post-race action of the Vortex-backed single-make series, which aired last Thursday, 16 April, at 9.00 pm on our Facebook page, reached over 37,000 people (as of 20 April 2026).

Once again, the show was hosted by Mara Sangiorgio, a Sky Sport F1 journalist and keen karting enthusiast, who provided a detailed analysis of the races in the categories that took to the track (Mini ROK U10, Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK, Expert ROK and Super ROK), supported by highlights, championship standings and interviews with the drivers who made it onto the podium.

Among them, Aleksander Rogowski commented on the Senior ROK final: “I jumped straight into the lead, then dropped back to second place and focused solely on maintaining my pace. In the end, I didn’t get close enough to attempt a safe overtaking manoeuvre on Davide Lombardo and I didn’t want to take any risks.” A decision that proved to be the right one for the Pole, as the penalty imposed on the Italian at the end of the race promoted him to first place.

Lucas Bonhomme was the undisputed star of the Super ROK: “The final was very tough; Riccardo Ferrari was right on my tail for all fifteen laps.” Nevertheless, the Frenchman managed to hold onto the lead right up to the chequered flag.

Andrea Sorbello came out on top in the Expert ROK category, following a weekend that improved steadily after a difficult start: “The circuit proved to be particularly challenging compared to our initial impressions during the test days. We encountered some difficulties in qualifying, but from that point on I adapted to the track and, little by little, we managed to improve.”

In the Junior ROK class, Adrian Potepa commented on a result that left him not entirely satisfied: “The final was fairly simple, I ran almost the whole race in second place. I only had to defend my position in the final laps. I think it’s a good result, but I’m not entirely satisfied.”

During the episode, there was also space for two in-depth features dedicated to the world of ROK: a focus on the prize money for the ROK Cup Italia – which includes prizes for the top three finishers in each final and, for the champion of each category, entry to the ROK Cup Superfinal – and an ‘onboard’ analysis of a lap of the Viterbo circuit, filmed with Italian driver Ferrari (Super ROK).
