The 2025 season of the ROK Talk Show continues, once again with a huge number of followers, on the occasion of the episode reserved for the 2nd Round of the ROK Cup Italy. The third episode of the web-program focuses on the post-race events of the single-brand by Vortex, aired last Thursday 10th April, at 9pm, on our Facebook page, which reached over 39,000 people (survey of 14th April 2025).
This time, Luca Filippi (cooperator of Sport Mediaset and Drive Up, as well as GP2 Series runner-up and former IndyCar Series and Formula E driver) told about the events of the race-weekend held at the 7 Laghi Kart in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Italy) last 5-6 April, through highlights and the voices of the main protagonists of the seven categories running (Mini ROK U10, Mini ROK, Junior ROK, Senior ROK, Expert ROK, Super ROK and Shifter ROK).
Among the many drivers who spoke to our microphones was Matteo Melis, the winner of the Junior ROK final: ‘Qualifying did not go as we expected, especially after the excellent free practice, and the result made it difficult for us in the heats. The final was easier by starting in third position, from which I jumped well on the first corner, and when I took the lead, I managed to run away’. Alex Desario, Super ROK vice-champion in force and first classified in Race 1, comes again on the top step of the podium: ‘It went well, I helped myself with the second place in the qualifyings. It was a hard race because I thought Riccardo Ferrari might be able to overtake me in the first two laps, but then I could increase my gap and go to victory’.
Moreover, ROK Talk Show puts once more some of the ROK Cup Italy’s competitors through their paces with an engaging quiz on the world of the one-make championship by Vortex, this time involving Lorenzo Bedetti, Manuel Daziano, Brando Pozzi, Federico Albanese, Nicola Rossini, Marco Acquarella, Tymoteusz Ksiadz and Giacomo Prandelli of the Shifter ROK class. Finally, there is an in-depth analysis of the Castelletto di Branduzzo circuit, with an onboard lap commented by Andrea Giudice, the current Senior ROK championship’s leader.
