Check the calendar of scheduled races

First you must look at the calendar and results section so as to choose the event(s) in which to take part.

There are single race events and championships: for the latter - such as the ROK Cup Italia and ROK Cup Sud - participating in a minimum number of races in the same category (5 for the ROK Cup Italia and 3 for the ROK Cup Sud) gives you access to the championship standings and you can aspire to win the fantastic awards on the prize list (all details can be found in the regulations section.

Choose the event and register!

For multi-round ROK Cups (e.g. ROK Cup Italia and ROK Sud), no championship registration is necessary, you register from race to race. To do so, simply go to the championships section, click on the event (either multi-event championship or single race event) of interest and then follow the instructions provided.

For single race events (e.g. ROK Cup Superfinal, ROK Winter Trophy, ROK Cup Euro Trophy...) you will be redirected to the specific mini site through which ROK manages all communications relating to that specific event.

Remember that you need a kart, clothing and...

Now that you are registered, what is missing? Here's a quick checklist to make sure you can forget.... Nothing!

- A kart chassis, of any make, with valid CIK-FIA homologation or belonging to the previous homologation period. To buy a new or used one, you can contact a ROK dealer.

- A ROK engine, to be installed on the chassis, which you can buy or rent. Rental of the engine is mandatory for the Mini ROK category at some events. In any case, for more information, go to the rent an engine section

- Technical clothing for racing: helmet, suit, shoes, gloves... To be purchased from ROK dealers.

Chassis, engine and clothing must, of course, comply with the parameters set out in the technical regulations (which you can find in the regulations section).

... All documents!

The following documents are required at the time of registration:

- Driver's licence (find out which one you need in the sporting regulations)

- Competitor's licence

- Certificate of eligibility for competitive activity (art.5-D.M. 18/02/82)

- Authorization form for underage drivers..

HOW TO GET A LICENCE

Karting licences may only be issued by the Sporting Offices of the Provincial Automobile Clubs and by ACI Sport.
Licences are valid from the date of issue to the following 31 December.

The following licences are available:
a) ENTRANT
b) DRIVER

ENTRANT is anyone who enters one or more karts and their driver(s) in a competition. Entrant licences are issued to natural persons over 18 years of age or to racing teams, bodies or companies in possession of a legal personality. A physical person competitor licence holder may enter one (and only one) kart in one (and only one) competition. A physical person karting competitor licence holder is authorized to enter one or more underage drivers in the same race provided that there is a degree of parental relationship between the competitor and the drivers.

A legal person competitor licence holder may enter one or more karts and their drivers in a competition.

DRIVER is anyone who drives a kart in a competition. Driver's licences are issued to physical persons. For the licence issuing procedure and related costs, please refer to the specific section of the ACI SPORT website .

We would also like to remind you that in Italy a special 'assistant mechanic' licence is required for mechanics. The Assistant Mechanic's Licence is issued to personnel responsible for starting (pushing) karts on the starting grid, who are over 18 years of age, and entitles the holder, if indicated by the entrant in the race, to receive a mechanical pass.

Foreign drivers are required to have their national licence and, in addition, a visa provided by the federation that issued the licence. For more information, please contact your relevant ASN.
